The End of August?

Wow... Where did this summer go? It's hard to believe it's been over a month since I posted. We have thoroughly enjoyed the lazy days of summer… but we can all feel the readiness of school and set schedules to begin again… Especially Mom!

As many of you know, Alex received two tickets to see Raven Symone in concert for her Birthday. She could choose anyone she wanted to bring. She chose her friend, Bethany. Last night she was finally able to cash in those tickets. The Pavilion at the Fair Grounds was crowded with little girls… I bet you can’t imagine what a few thousand little girls sound like when they scream, huh? Let’s just say my ears are still ringing!!! Raven did a great job keeping her audience up and dancing… The best part that I enjoyed was the fact that her and Rapper, "Little J Xavier" (who started the show for her), spoke of saying no to sex, drugs & alcohol and staying focused on their lives!!! Yep, Raven made a fan out of me… Besides, the girl can sing!!!
