Amazing Freedom!

Women of Faith Amazing Freedom Conference

Have I told you lately how awesome the Women of Faith Conferences are? Well, here I go again. Last weekend Mom, Billie, Amy and I attended the Portland conference, at the Rose Garden Arena. I wait for this weekend all year long. It's my time to renew & strengthen my soul without any interruptions. We all have those moments when our joy and gratefulness go into hiding. These weekends remind me that I'm not alone... and that I need to remember just how blessed I am. I need to stop allowing others to take my joy away. Honestly? I need to pray for sweet words, because one of these days I’m going to eat them! LOL

I can't tell you who my favorite speaker is. It's too hard to decide. Each lady brings amazing food for the soul. Marilyn Meberg, Luci Swindoll, Nicole Johnson, Thelma Wells, Pasty Clairmont, Sandy Patty, Anita Renfroe and Sheila Walsh - they are all fantastic REAL women! What do I mean by real? Well, just that, real! They don't pretend to be perfect. They are not better than the rest of us. They each have undergone the depressions of this world, yet, have found grace, mercy & freedom through our Lord, Jesus Christ! It's hard to explain... If you ever get the chance to attend one of these conferences, I highly recommend it! You'll see what I mean.

Dr. Henry Cloud & Sheila Walsh hosted the Pre-Conference Friday. Both are amazing people. Dr. Cloud is hilarious! I cannot wait to read his book for us parents, called "Boundaries". Nicole Nordeman preformed some of her most loved songs Friday night. She has a voice of an angel. Such a beautiful soul, inside & out. My two favorite songs are "Legacy" and "Why?" God truly has blessed her with an amazing talent.

And since your looking, I'll share the newest pictures of my beautiful family!
Madison has one more soccer game to play. She is loving the game and is learning a lot. I'm trying to talk her into playing Basketball after Christmas. Alexandra has started sewing with a 4H group. She is going to try her hand at making a skirt. Her group will be apart of the County Fair's fashion show this next summer. Her friend, Bethany, is also taking 4H.
