Thankfulness

My close friend, Tina, decided to share a quick list of things she is thankful for on her blog. I loved it so much that I'm going to swipe the idea.

Just a few things I'm grateful for today:

God's grace & unfailing love, even when I screw up.
Mom & Dad for showing us what a relationship should be like & teaching me to listen to my conscience & to always remember my P's&Q's.
Scott's love & patience. Even when the house is trashed.
Alexandra's quick wit & amazing intelligence.
Madison's love of everything & her huge giving heart.
Hunter's imagination & eagerness to learn it all.
The feeling that I'm doing pretty good as a Mother of 3!

My brother, John. He taught me not to be so gullible. And that the Oakland Raiders & Atlanta Braves are the awesomiest teams in the world. And never forgetting our secret you better not lie quote: "Promise & God can't forgive?!"

Cousin, Billie Rae, for showing me what it would have been like to have an older & wiser sister. For sharing her clothes with me! And for sharing secrets with.

Milo, the wild dog. His unconditional love reminds me just how much God loves me. Tobie, my 14 yr. cat. My baby before the babies. I love that cat & her Doritos addiction!
Our small town. People still wave as they pass.
Our small school. They might not be the wealthiest school, but you can't say they don't love what they do & the students they bring intelligence to.
Oregon! The rain can drive me crazy - but if I take the time to look around me I'm amazed at how beautiful this area really is.
Soft pillows
Fleece blankets
Ice Cream
Fresh tomatoes
Fresh Steelhead & Salmon
Pork Chops
Coffee with Vanilla cream
Sleeping in on Saturdays
My Bunco Babes
Our PTA Mommas & their dedication to our school
My van still runs smoothly
Morning hugs & Goodnight kisses
We have a home where our children can feel safe
Friends that really mean "how are you?" when they ask.
Internet. I have some fantastic Pen pals. I love you ladies!
Word find puzzles
Scrabble - even tho I'm not very good at it.
Mom drilled Proverbs 3:5 & 6 into my head growing up. It's been a lifesaver!

Left Behind Book Series brought Revelations alive to me.
Big smiles
Cabella's Bargain Cave webpage.
Garage sales & 2nd hand stores have made my life way easier.
Yellow roses in my backyard.
Tulips telling me that we are "supposed" to be having springtime..
Daisies that smile at me in our pasture.
Chocolate!!!!
Sangria wine with a ton of fruit *Yum*
Strawberries right off of the vines.
BBQ Steaks
Good & faithful friends for my children.
Music that lifts the soul & moves the hips!
Women of Faith Conferences!
Laughter, Laughter & more Laughter!!

Knowing that simplifying my life doesn't mean I'm boring - but I'm happy with who I am, believe & have in my life.
