A few of my Bunco babes & I just completed a three day Lady's Basic Gun Class @ Four Corner Rod & Gun Club, located in Salem. Two nights of classroom studies and 3hrs of Range time. It was a lot of fun. We're planning to go back and attend the in-home self defense class.
The poor instructors had their work cut out for them. Some ladies had never held a gun before. Some thought they knew more than the instructors. Funny how there is at least one in every class, huh? *eye roll*
Now I have the option to apply for a concealed weapons permit. I'm proud of myself for taking this class, but more importantly, Scott is proud of me! Next time he jokingly offers to buy me a gun, I might take him up on that. Target shooting is something I'd be happy to do together.
I highly recommend that women take time from their busy schedules to learn the basics of gun safety. It may save your life one day.

You Go Girl!! That is awesome! I would LOVE to do that, but I know I wouldn't want to be there with the kids learning...I would want to be other women...too bad Oregon and Minnesota are SO dang far away!
