Scott: Ali, what would you like as a Promotion gift?
Ali: A trip to the Smithsonian
Scott: Get a 4.0 GPA and then we'll talk
Me: Chocking on my dinner!!!
Ali: Start saving, Dad.

Four more weeks to go before report cards are issued. This week's progress reports are showing, you guessed it, a 4.0 GPA!! We're gladly accepting donation for the "What where you thinking?" Fund!

The girls have been trying their hand at Vegetarianism. Scott & I have always said they are welcome to try anything they're interested in, as long as there is no harm involved. Ali has been meat free for almost a month. She told me yesterday that she has lost 3lbs and feels much better. Now, if I could get her to actually eat more vegetables than Carbs! Madison is having fun with it, as well, but really doesn't want to give up her Sweet & Sour Chicken. She recently learned there are different types of Vegetarians:

Madison: Mom, what do you call a Vegetarian that eats Chicken?
Me: I'm not sure. Try typing that question on Ask.com.

After searching, she comes back & hands me a piece of paper that says: Hypocrite.

Once I wiped the tears from my eyes from laughing, I helped her find the right term. They are called: Pollo-Vegetarians.  Her finding sounds more accurate, doesn't it? LOL

Scott breaks out in cold sweats when there is plumbing issues in the house. So, Dad is generously putting a shower head in our main bathroom. With three kids, it's way overdue!

Yesterday as Dad was opening up the hole for the new pipes, Hunter was investigating his handy work. It was cute to hear Dad explain what he was doing and what type of tool he needed. After a while Hunter comes out of the bathroom, leans towards me with one hand next to his mouth and whispers "Plumbing takes a long time". I smiled and agreed. As he starts back towards the bathroom he says "Maybe because Grandpa doesn't know what he is doing..."

Seriously, where would we get our entertainment without these three precious blessings of ours??
