Summer Is Here

Scott, Alex, Madi, Gpa Roger & Gma Margaret-Anne took off for some much needed R&R the weekend after school let out. Our family's favorite spot is near Hell's Canyon on the Snake River. As you can see by the pictures, the girls had a blast! The fishing & swimming improved quite a bit in that week. The girls had a blast sleeping in the camper and Gpa's Coach, watching TV and playing Jenga with Scott






















On the way home Scott stopped for some more fun. They enjoyed learning about these great places.

Instead of taking a romantic Alaskan cruise for two for our Anniversary, we decided to purchase family friendly items; a bigger swimming pool and a much needed BBQ! Living on a well can take the fun out of things sometimes. Due to only having 20-30 mins. at a time to fill the pool with water, it was almost a week before the kids could enjoy it. Here are some photos of their first swim. The BBQ is getting a ton of use, too. I think we made the best choice!





Madison took this picture of Scott and I on our 12th Anniversary! Hard to imagine that twelve years have come and gone already. We have been so blessed to have had such a loving relationship. God truly is awesome. He is the One that is always in charge!
