Oregon has been hammered with cold weather this past week. The scary part is not many of us know how to drive in the stuff. The kids & I have been home bound for six days already... can you say cabin fever?
Yesterday we woke up to heavy falling snow. It continued to snow heavily all day. By 4:00 pm I decided to go outside and take some pictures. It was 8" and counting. This morning it's tapered off and we're now sitting at 10". We lost power yesterday afternoon & it's still down. Thank God for our generator! We can run the TV, computer & a few lights at the same time. In awhile each of us will enjoy a nice warm 2 min. shower.
We have been dealt an easy hand compared to Salem & Portland areas. They received awful amounts of ice & traction devices are required in Portland...
