We are super happy of all the hard work Ali put into this grading period. She did this term entirely on her own. As we sat down with her teacher, for our spring parent/teacher conference, he asked "Why would you bet her a trip to DC?" Good question! Scott?? All joking aside, this wonderful child of ours proved to herself how capable she really is. We've heard from several folks that DC is gorgeous when the Cherry trees are in bloom, so by God's grace, she'll see those precious Smithsonian buildings within the next 12 months.
Since we're talking amazing grades I have to talk about Madison & Hunter, too!
Madison has exceeded all of her state testing, as well as improved in all aspects of schooling. Did you know there was such a thing as Divas in the 4th grade? Technology isn't the only thing advancing like crazy. There were a few weeks of hard knots she went through, but her teacher happily shared that seems to be gone. (at least until 7th grade. *sigh*)
Hunter is also doing wonderful in school. He can count to 120 without stopping, reads over 40 site words and picks up new skills with ease. His social skills are progressing nicely, too.
Scott and I are truly blessed that God has allowed us to raise these amazing children. What an amazing feeling it is to know that our children are on their way to becoming bright, intelligent and happy adults.
God is SO good!!
